I’m originally from KC but I’ve been in LA for close to a decade, so my slang is all over the place. I say “y’all”, “I tell ya what”, and “heavens to Betsy”—but I also say “gnarly” and “stoked”. As an English major, I’ve always had a passion for reading and writing, and copywriting always has and continues to excite me. I take pride in putting my personal stamp on every concept or piece of copy, big or small. I believe good editing is good writing, and my process usually involves writing out a paragraph or two and then whittling it down to its essence (shorter is always better).

My hobbies include: playing and recording songs, record collecting (I love getting in eBay bidding wars over vinyl), going to shows, food/cooking, sports (primarily basketball), retro video games (esp Super Nintendo), visiting museums, Studio Ghibli movies, meditation, theories of consciousness and free will.
